A report describes what became of the company named on a stock certificate, based on public sources we were able to retrieve and cite. It is general information, not investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not an appraisal of the certificate.

We never state a total value for your certificate. Only the company's transfer agent, or a state unclaimed property office, can confirm what a holding is worth and pay it out.

When you order, your card is authorized for the price shown but not charged. We charge it only when we deliver a report with an answer: “Likely has value”, “Likely no value as stock” or “Likely a claim, amount unknown”. If we can't find an answer, we release the authorization and you pay nothing. If we can't finish the report before the authorization expires, we either send it free or cancel the order without charge.

Anyone with the link to your results page can read it, so share it only with people you choose.
